American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2016

Each year, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk raises over $60 million for the American Cancer Society. The fight to end breast cancer starts with a single step. Take that step at this year’s American Cancer Society Making Strides of Concord, NH walk. It will take each and every one of us to rally together and finish the fight against breast cancer. Just a few hours of your time at our non-competitive, 5 mile event will help bring a lifetime of change for people facing breast cancer and their families. Every step and ever dollar raised will help the American Cancer Society to:

  • Invest in breast cancer research to find, prevent, treat, and cure the disease. We’ve invested more in breast cancer research than any other cancer and have played a role in nearly every major breast cancer research breakthrough in recent history.
  • Offer information, answers, and emotional support to people facing breast cancer 24 hours a day. Today one in every two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to us for help and support.
  • Ensure access to mammograms for women who need them so more lives are saved.

Every Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society find a cure. The walk starts at Memorial Park on 70 South Fruit Street, Concord, NH at 1:00pm on Sunday October 16th. Help finish the fight against breast cancer!
